Manage a booking
Open any booking with its reference and a traveller surname to see the itinerary, download it, add it to your calendar or ask us to change or cancel it.
Use the 6 character airline reference on your e ticket, or the order id from your confirmation email, which starts with ord_, plus a traveller surname.
Use your booking reference, which looks like 255-1234567, plus a guest surname.
Changes and cancellations go to our team from the booking page. We price them with the airline or hotel and nothing changes until you say yes.
Find my bookingFlights
Changes, refunds, bags, seats, check-in and what happens when the airline moves things.
It depends on the fare rules shown when you booked. Flexible fares can usually be moved, the cheapest fares often cannot, and the airline charges its own fee for any change plus any difference in fare.
Open your booking and send us a change request, or call us with your reference. We read the rules on your exact ticket, price the change with the airline and tell you the real cost before you decide.
Fares are non-refundable once booked unless the airline cancels your flight or the fare rules on your ticket allow a refund. We show you which kind of fare you are buying before you pay.
Where a refund is due, we claim it from the airline and pass it back to your original payment method as soon as the airline releases it.
Name corrections depend on the airline. Some allow small fixes for free, some charge a fee, and a few treat any change as a new ticket.
Our team reads every booking before it is ticketed, so if you spot a mistake straight away call us and we will try to fix it while it is still easy.
Every fare on the results page shows the bags it includes, both cabin and checked. Different fares on the same flight can include different bags, which is why we show it per fare rather than per airline.
If you need more, extra bags can be added at booking at the airline’s own price.
Where the airline offers a seat map, you can pick seats at booking. Some seats are free and some carry a charge set by the airline, and the price is shown before you select.
If you skip seats, the airline assigns them at check-in.
Check-in is with the airline, not with us. It usually opens online 24 to 48 hours before departure on the airline’s app or website, using the booking reference from your e-ticket email and the surname on the ticket.
If your trip uses more than one airline you may have a reference for each. Your e-ticket email lists them all.
Airlines can change schedules, aircraft or routes after you book. When a change lands on your booking, we call you with the options the airline offers rather than leaving you to spot an email.
Where a significant change entitles you to an alternative flight or a refund, we help you claim it.
Yes. Children aged 2 to 11 and infants under 2 can be added in the travellers box when you search. The airline prices them, so the fare for each child is shown before you book.
Everyone travels on the same booking, so you only need one reference for the family.
Yes. Choose Multi-city in the search and add up to four flights, each with its own dates. The whole journey is priced together and booked on one reference.
For anything with more than four flights, call us with the cities and dates and we will price it and book it for you.
E-tickets go out by email after our team has checked the booking, usually within a couple of hours during office hours. Bookings made overnight are checked when the desk opens.
Your confirmation email arrives straight away with your order id, so you always have proof of the booking while you wait.
Hotels
What the price covers, cancellation deadlines and what to expect on arrival.
The price shown covers the whole stay for the room and dates you picked, with taxes included. The only exceptions are charges the hotel collects itself on arrival, such as city tax.
Any charge the hotel collects locally is listed before you book, so the total is never a surprise at reception.
Some cities charge a small tax per person per night that the hotel collects directly from guests. It is set by the local authority, not by the hotel or by us.
Where it applies we show it on the room before you book, so you know what to expect when you check out.
Each room says whether it can be cancelled and by when. Rooms with free cancellation give a deadline, and after that deadline the hotel may charge for some or all of the stay.
Non-refundable rooms are usually cheaper but cannot be cancelled. Check the room’s conditions before you book, as they are the hotel’s rules.
Typically check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am, though the hotel confirms the exact times. Arriving earlier or leaving later is at the hotel’s discretion.
If you are arriving late at night, tell us and we will let the hotel know.
Yes. Requests such as a high floor, a quiet room or twin beds can be passed to the hotel, though the hotel decides what it can offer on the day.
Call or email us with your booking reference and the request, and we will pass it on.
Your confirmation email carries your booking reference, which looks like 255-1234567, together with the hotel name and address, your dates and room, and the cancellation conditions for that room.
You can reopen the booking at any time on the My trips page using that reference and the guest surname.
Hotels set their own rules for children, including cots and extra beds, and the rules differ from one property to the next.
Tell us the ages of the children before you book and we will check what the hotel allows.
Every booking is checked before it is ticketed.
We check names, connections and fare rules while a mistake is still easy to fix.
Paying
Currency, cards, why a fare can move before ticketing and how to get a receipt.
If you are browsing from outside the UK, prices can display in your local currency at today’s rate so they are easier to read. Payment itself is always taken in pounds.
The pound total is shown before you pay, and your card provider handles the conversion.
We take the major debit and credit cards, and payment is taken in full when you book. We do not charge card fees.
Airline fares are live. When you choose a fare, the airline holds that price for a short window, and it can move while you fill in traveller details.
If the airline reprices before we ticket, we stop and show you the new total and ask before charging. We never charge a price you have not seen and agreed to.
Your confirmation email shows what you paid, including the fare, taxes and any extras as separate lines. If you need a separate receipt for expenses, email us with your order id and we will send one.
Protection
Who you are booking with, when ATOL applies and what happens if an airline fails.
Your flight is booked with the airline through us, an IATA accredited agent, number 91201434. Your contract for the flight itself is with the airline, and our job is to arrange the booking properly and look after you when things change.
Accreditation is checkable with IATA using our number.
ATOL protection applies where your booking forms a package. Flight only bookings are not ATOL protected, which is true wherever you buy a standalone airline ticket.
We tell you clearly before you pay whether your booking is a package.
Your ticket is a contract with the airline, so if an airline stops flying your options depend on whether the booking was a package and on what the airline offers.
Call us as soon as you hear. We will tell you where you stand and help you pursue whatever you are entitled to.
Flight Points and referrals
How points are earned, how referrals work and what you can do with them.
You receive 500 points when you create an account, then 5 points for every pound you book, flights and hotels alike. Points are credited when the booking is made and appear in your account straight away.
Share your invite link with a friend. Once they sign up and make their first booking, flight or hotel, you each receive 1,000 points.
The bonus is paid once per referred friend.
Nothing yet. Points cannot be spent for now, but everything you earn stays visible in your account and is kept for when spending opens.
Points have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Group trips
Splitting the cost, what happens if the party changes and how the booking is held.
Start a group, share one link, and each traveller joins with their own details and pays their own share. Nobody fronts the money for the whole party.
The per person price shown while the group fills is a live estimate. If the fare moves before booking, the organiser sees the new price first and decides whether to go ahead.
Nothing is booked until the whole party is in, so a traveller who steps back before then is not on any ticket.
Groups close 14 days after they are created or two days before departure, whichever comes first. If your party changes, call us and we will sort it out before the group closes.
Yes. Once the last person is in, the whole party goes on one airline booking reference, checked by our team before ticketing.
The fare rules on that ticket apply to everyone in the group.
